Education Family Services Health & Nutrition

Education

Educators at Acelero Learning change the lives of children every day. Teachers, coaches, managers, and program designers all play pivotal roles in delivering the highest quality experience for children in our classrooms. None of them do it on an island. Our education team works together to support and strengthen one another as we aspire to continuously improve the services we provide to children.

Family Services

Our Head Start programs are authentically two generation programs, which is reflected in our family services work. We work diligently with parents to support them in becoming effective advocates, models, and teachers for their children. We also support parents to overcome immediate life challenges and to pursue their hopes and dreams. By investing in families as our partners and treating them with the respect they deserve, we can ensure that children leave our Head Start programs with a long-term foundation for success.

Health & Nutrition

We recognize that it is difficult for children to learn if they are not being treated for a medical condition or eating enough healthy food. Closing the achievement gap requires support for children and their families with their health and nutritional needs. Our health and nutrition staff ensure that children receive preventive care and screenings, help families receive timely medical care, and provide access to essential health and nutrition information, allowing children to focus on learning in the classroom.
